News - Multilayered XIV–XV Century Front Slit Brigandine

June 02, 2009

This is great quality XIV–XV century type brigandine — great classic combat medieval armor. Our brig is made of 3 layers of fabric  with wool covering (external wool layer, then 2 layers of cotton with metal plates between and flax linen lining) with 1 mm hand-dished cold-rolled plates inside. This is great, light and very comfortable combat armor. Actually, 1mm is enough, but for your choice it can be made with 1.5 (16 ga) cold-rolled plates inside.
