Viking Brooch Clasp “Eydis”
Brass cloak pin clasp fibula
Viking Cloak Pin Brooch “Eydis”
Brass fibula with "Wolves" pattern
We made this beautiful brass clasp as a part of your “Shieldmaiden” collection. Cloak clasps were the important part of Viking's outfits as their cloaks (as well as many others pieces of ancient wardrobe) were pretty simple and fibula was an only way to make a cloak out of woolen blanket or fur.
This fibula looks very elegant with сutwork “Wolves” pattern and will be a great part of your ancient wardrobe

This is a gorgeous piece, as per usual from ArmStreet. I bought it for my husband and he thought it was beautiful. Wonderful crasftmanship.
Is this strictly a female's cloak pin or is it not historically accurate for a mans cloak ?
It is a unisex clasp.
My gorgeous eydis fibula thankyou
Sturdy, attractive, holds its shape like sheepskin. I should have taken 2!
very Unique ,, well made,, just as nice as in the photo, great look and feel to it.
Absolutely beautiful brooch, and a wonderful design! It will go great with the rest of my Shieldmaiden set from Armstreet! I can’t wait to wear it with my wool cloak to a larp later this month!
Im so glad I got this piece. I just adore it !!! Thank you.
This is a really beautiful item
Lovely and well made. Thank you so much!
I ordered three of these. Great that they now come in a silver color. The pin portion I felt was short on two of them and long enough on the third. I may want to exchange the two short pins for longer ones if it be becomes a problem.
Dear Stephen, we are sorry to hear about the issue. A product can be exchanged within 3 days after the order is received and while the products is not used. Kindly contact our support team with the pictures asap so we could exchange the clasps.
This is beautiful but I would be a little concerned the 'pin' is rather thick which would eventually damage the cloth of the cloak. How would you avoid this on a wool cloak if you wear it as an everyday garment instead of a coat in the winter? Thanks for your help, Have a wonderful New Year, Margie
Hi Margie! Unfortunately, there is not way to avoid fabric damage if you wear the pin on the cloak, sorry.
