Our new “Renaissance Memories” collection is feminine, dainty, and ornate, consisting of fabulously made pieces of clothing and accessories. Historically inspired and elaborated on by our talented designers, we have created a new line of items that are far more beautiful than anything we have seen before.

The original historic inspirations for this bag came from the framed purses of the XIV and XV century. They were purses made from fabric, constructed around a metal frame. The frame was often embellished at the top to make it more fashionable and provided the purse with much-needed structure. We are very proud of the mix of history and modern design that has gone into this bag to create something truly stunning!

The first thing you will notice about this bag is the frame. Made from three layers of 1.5mm brass, laser cut into a design. It begins with a shape, reminiscent of cathedral windows and shapes we found in manuscripts, with expertly inlaid enamel to give it a pop of color. This frame hangs from your belt, or wherever else you choose to hang it, with a robust chain and a “T” shaped end that allows you to secure it. This bag has two main pouches, which have enough space to allow you to store your most vital items.

The first pouch – the smaller of the two - is accessible from the outside of the pouch, and is located right underneath the cathedral windows. It closes with a drawstring, which we have decorated with brass beads. The second, larger pouch is actually accessed by hinging the cathedral frame back. The smaller pouch and the frame act as a “lid” to protect whatever you have inside.

This pouch is a luxurious item made from high-quality materials. The main part of the bag is soft to the touch and made from buttery suede. The leather side of it is also beautifully soft but durable, which makes it perfect for the inside of the bag. Twisted brass rings have been placed on the bottom of the bag at the points, which aesthetically tie together the whole shape. Fine details such as neat, exposed hand stitching really make this bag a cut above the average renaissance accessory.
