Handsome, valiant and idolised, the noble knight is not only a skilled swordsperson, but also an inspiration to all. Their very presence drives those around them and pushes them to try harder, fight better, and improve themselves. The Kingmaker Collection is a kit for exactly that kind of person – someone who not only leads on the front lines, but is also a style icon to their people. With influence taken from the end of The Hundred Years war, we’ve created a visually stunning arm harness that is sure to turn heads and garner attention.

This harness consists of three parts riveted together: splinted leather bracers, an articulated stainless steel elbow piece, and a splinted leather rerebrace. It is most comfortable worn over a padded jacket or gambeson, and can be pointed to a gambeson at the top of the upper cannons. The vibrant leather you see on this harness is hand dyed veg tanned leather, and can be produced in a variety of brilliant colours. The leather is adorned by unique laser cut 1mm stainless steel splints, securely attached with solid brass rivets that are both sturdy and look amazing. Between the splints the leather is reinforced with riveting, and the whole arm I held on by robust leather straps with period appropriate hand-cast brass buckles.

The elbow piece is utterly stunning. Made from shiny 1.5mm stainless steel, the gently pointed elbows are surrounded by intricate roping which can also be seen at the ends of the articulated plates. Stainless steel means that these are easy to take care of and don’t require the huge amount of maintenance associated with mild steel. Smooth articulation means you’ll have an excellent range of movement despite the thick steel construction. The elbows also feature a riveted rectangular fan edged in brass to protect your inner arm with style. As an added bonus, we’ve designed three different pairs Kingmaker Pauldrons you can use with this harness so that you can make it fit your own personal style.
