Kingmaker Sword and Scabbard
A XV inspired longsword with a stunning leather scabbard
Is this not the most beautiful decorative sword you’ve ever seen? Rich with fine details, excellent finishing and refined design, the Kingmaker Sword is truly a work of art. This phenomenal creation was inspired by longswords from the XV century, and has both a longer blade and an extended grip which makes it a pleasure to hold in both hands. This sword is intended to be wielded either on a valiant steed or on foot, by a noble knight clad in a full set of armor. When we designed this sword, we set out to craft a decorative item that is both understated and utterly divine, and we have no doubt that we have achieved that!
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly which feature makes this sword so remarkable, but it’s hard to miss the fantastic twisted quillians with decorative cut-outs. The bottom half of this sword in general is a sight to behold, with the hilt wrapped in leather thonging and the bottom of the hilt gently sloping out into a hexagonal pommel. The first fifth of the blade is flourished with a burst of ornate etching which is beautiful but doesn’t overwhelm the aesthetic. Given that this is meant to be a purely decorative piece, we’ve made it hollow and crafted from rust-resistant stainless steel, which will keep it looking shiny and valiant.
Just as no knight is complete without a sword, no sword is complete without a scabbard. Made specifically to hold this exact sword, this glorious scabbard also includes a strapping to connect your new favorite weapon to your most dashing belt. Beautifully finished with solid brass rivets, cast buckles, matching embossing and hand stitching, we have spared no expense to make sure that this is the most beautiful scabbard you’ve ever owned. The strapping we created can be attached to any belt, and will ensure that your sword hangs in the most comfortable way possible whilst keeping it close at hand. Please leave the desired width of the belt loop in a comment when order, the default it is made to is 3cm. This scabbard also has a solid stainless steel core which makes sure the sword will fit snuggly, and the scabbard will remain rigid even when the sword is drawn. It also makes an incredibly satisfying sound when it is drawn, which we hope you’ll appreciate as much as we do!
