All The Traveller craves in life is a warm fire at night, good stories to tell and for his feet to always carry him somewhere interesting. His boots have walked around bogs, through forests, and over the same stone walls as he has, accompanying him every step of the way. There is very little that any traveller values than a good, reliable pair of boots to make their journey more comfortable.

These reliable boots have a simple, clean aesthetic that will suit any character and are constructed with care from quality materials. May you be on your way to fighting practice or taking the first step in a long journey, these boots are the perfect companion. We have made these boots from sturdy leather and have reinforced them with leather trimming around the sole for added structure. To add authenticity, we have stitched them together with artificial sinew, which looks like the real thing but isn’t as prone to rot or tearing under stress.

While these boots have an excellent medieval look, they provide you with close-to-modern comfort. There are many layers to them to make sure of this, including a leather insole, a porous breathable orthopaedic base, leather fiberboard and a ribbed rubber outsole. This provides more grip than traditional medieval shoes, making them excellent for adventuring! The straps around the ankles are finished with beautiful hand cast brass buckles that continue the viking motif.

If you are not keen on the modern sole of these shoes, there are many other shoes available that cater to more authentic tastes. If you’re looking for something a little bit fancier, we do have an embossed version of these shoes available.

Important note about measurements:

Please be accurate when taking your shoe measurements. Correct measurements are vital and incorrect information strongly affects our ability to make a well-fitted item. Please keep in mind that natural leather is a soft material and will stretch, so when you first wear your shoes they will fit quite tightly. After a day or two of usage they should fit excellently.
