Perfect medieval style shoes for medieval or renaissance period event, SCA festival and costuming. These lightweight leather shoes will be a perfect part of your garb at any summer time event.
Simple but cute design of these shoes looks great especially when it is outlined by unusual embossed leather.
These shoes have modern soles that ensure a secure grip and are perfect for different types of activity - from usual walking to dancing. They consist of several layers: leather insole, leather fiber board, porous breathable orthopedic base and ribbed rubber outsole. This model cannot be made with authentic soles, but one can find many other historically accurate models with leather soles in our store.

I ordered these shoes with my measurents, mentioned I had insoles (I measured my feet with the insoles on). The shoes came perfect in size and I can fit my insoles in them comfortably. They're beautiful and even more stunning than I anticipated. I love them.

I love my brown pair! I’ve had them a couple of years now and I can’t remember if there were as many colour options as there are now :) so pretty. I must have taken slightly too big measurements as they are ever so slightly big. But! That allows for me to put a simple cushioned insole for a fit I couldn’t have even hoped for :)

Hi, I have low arches and so wear orthotics when wearing flat shoes to elevate them. How should I measure to accommodate this?

Hello, I was wondering how you would recommend to break these or any of your other shoes in? I get blisters easily and would like to avoid any... Thank you :)
Please try to walk wearing them at home for a couple of days, the leather should stretch and take form of your foot. Wearing them at home over a pair of socks should help loosen the leather and stretch out the boots. In extreme cases, you can use a shoe stretcher spray.
Hello, I would like to get these in the white leather,but would it be possible to get a lighter coloured sole on the bottom of these? Like the Accolade pair? preferably all white but can be a very pale gray or very pale beige. Thank-you! Appreciate your time
The outsole on these shoes can be made the same color as on the Accolade pair. It wouldn`t be all white, but can be made in beige color as on Accolade shoes.

At the moment we can`t provide any accurate information if the dark blue embossed leather will be back soon, sorry. We can offer to try Blue on Black embossed leather.

Yes, this is possible if you provide some additional information. You can send us some photos of your insoles, measure their length and thickness. We'll forward all this data to our shoemaker and he will make your shoes taking into account all these features.

Yes, can be made of plain brown or black leather, this option is free. Simply mention this in a comment to your order.

Original colour ("light brown") shown at the photos is not available any more, sorry.
"Grey-brown" and "dark brown" colors are close to the original colour.

Blue embossed leather is darker than Royal blue color and not so bright. Blue embossed leather is quite dark indeed, closer to "midnight blue".
Usually we send footwear in boxes, but we do not provide gift packaging, sorry. Please add a comment to your order - "to ship in a box", just in case.

We recommend to measure the length of your foot and check your shoe size using our footwear size chart.
Your shoes are beautiful, but all of them are made out of leather. Will you be making any shoes for men and women that are made out of other materials other than leather? I could stand to loose a little bit of "authenticity" if necessary, but weren't there shoes that had jute soles and some kind of fabric upper? If you made them, I would buy them. These shoes can be worn as usual modern shoes with leather soles. The outsole is made of two layers of durable leather and a special thin rubber lining that prevents erasure of the leather soles.
