Short-sleeved dresses are great for all sorts of events, but sometimes you need a little bit of extra coverage or want to add another accessory to make your look more interesting. These detachable sleeves are meant for exactly that – adding just a little bit more in a classy way.

These sleeves are similar to arm warmers in construction and do not actually physically attach to your dress. Instead, they have adjustable lacing that helps you get a nice snug fit. The easiest way to put these on is to loosen the lacing to allow room for your hand, pull them on, and then do up the lacing so it fits your arm. These sleeves are slightly flared at the wrist, and go up to your elbow. Instead of eyelets or metal lacing hooks, we’ve sewn in a cord to create little loops that you can pass your lacing through.

On these sleeves, you’ll find two different colors of linen: an outer color and a contrasting color used for the lining. The lining color is carried through to overlap at the top and provide a border, which is also complemented with beautiful trim. The trim you see on these sleeves has been designed by our artists here at ArmStreet, so you won’t find it anywhere else! The patterns are inspired by geometric shapes and have wonderful diamonds and stars all over them.

These sleeves were designed to match our beautiful “Key Keeper” dress, but we know that they’ll fit well into any medieval wardrobe. What dress will you choose to wear them with?
