Now you can buy elegant natural flax linen medieval overcoat separately. The overcoat is made from 100% natural flax linen with golden trim and elegant claps. Lacing on the back allows to make light size adjustments easily. Material is light, great for hot weather and have amazing rough authentic structure. The overcoat gives you excellent opportunity to complete bright character at any medieval or fantasy event and is a great attire as well.
If you would like to have the overcoat in other color you can consult order form for the available color options. You can also choose color of the trim.
Optionally you can order this overcoat with matching “Forest Princess” dress in the store.
Overcoat can be made with silver, gold, green-gold Celtic trim, silver or gold Forest trim; fixed size overcoats come with gold Forest trim.

Update: I bought this overcoat, requesting that it be made to fit over my bell-sleeved dresses, and I am THRILLED with the result! Subtle ties were added at the upper arm, making the armholes expandable so I can pull large sleeves through, then tighten them to fit. Genius! And it doesn't alter the stunningly gorgeous appearance of the overcoat one bit. This piece fits perfectly and looks even better in person. The clasps are heavy, high quality, and do not pop open when I move. The cut is flattering, the hem flows dramatically in the wind - it makes me feel like a mysterious elvish warrior! I have the dress that matches the Forest Princess overcoat and it was custom sized. I'm only 5'3", so the in stock dress would have been too long. But I wonder if the overcoat would work without custom ordering it? Besides the length, I'm a perfect 0 size. The picture makes it look like the overcoat isn't floor length, is that true? If so, would it work on someone who is 3 inches shorter than the 5'6" height you typically design for? Thanks guys!
Hi Amy, yes, the coat should fit fine. However, the sleeve length might be a little too long, because it is designed for the full height of 5'3"
Dear Armstreet, All the pieces you make are so beautiful! Wish I could own one of everything. I've been admiring this overcoat. I already have the Forest Princess dress, as well as Lady of the Lake, and the Archeress dress & chemise (love them all!!). I was wondering if I could wear this overcoat with all three dresses, or would it not work with a dress that has bell sleeves? Thank you for your insight, and the amazing work that you do. Thank you! Technically bell-sleeved dresses can be worn with this overcoat. We can make the armholes and sleeves of the overcoat a little wider to make it easier to pass the sleeves of the dresses. Please just add a note about the dresses that you're going to wear with the overcoat to your order.
Could this coat be put with the Rowena chemise? If it was in red whine or blue? I have a skirt that could easily go with it, but I'm looking for a pretty chemise with this coat.
Technically you can wear the Lady Rowena chemise with the overcoat, but we recommend wearing it as underwear or sleepwear. The chemise is made of thin linen, which is produced specially for the base layer clothing. To wear it as a dress should be complemented with matching colored seamless foundation garment/underwear.
