Classic XIII century long overcoat (cotta), made of natural flax linen. Colors of flax linen which fits current trim are black, brown, natural, blue, midnight blue, green.
Long trimmed belt is included.

I got this as a set with the lady of the lake dress. His looks so good and the two compliment each other very well. The details on the trim and belt for this outfit are really nice. My husband is a bigger guy but since it was custom measurements it fit him well and we didn’t have to worry. He looks really good!
This outfit came within the estimated delivery time frame and was made of a good quality material, and it matched the description, would have liked it to be a little thicker but it is still a great outfit I had a little problem with the tracking, because it didn’t update properly or regularly but still came on time :)

Love this outfit. I didn’t want to wear something super feminine this year, so I made sure to look at the men’s costumes. It was very warm today but the fabric is very breathable.
I ordered this back in 2016 and boy was that the right choice. It has seen more events than all my other full length robes and dresses combined. I ordered it in black cotton under tunic and dark blue overcoat with additional side gussets and custom trim and my best advice to you viewing this listing is: Order additional side gussets! It may add substantially to the price but the added flair and drama is absolutely worth it. This has been with me so long and in so frequent use that it has seen a lot of changes over the years. After an initial trim mix up the overcoat ended up with the "Lady of the lake" trim, and it still has it to this day. When I changed out the original wrong trim I also decreased the spacing of the lacing in the front tunic by half and I recommend doing so to you as well, if you are a busty female viewing this listing. The undertunic had "lady hunter" trim for quite a while, until I wove narrow black and gold trim and put the "Lady Hunter" trim on my Archeress dress instead. I eventually ended up putting gambeson like padding in the cuffs of the undertunic to prevent my bracers from chafing and switched out the original polyester lacing for rich brown silk cords with proper XIV style aglets on the ends. Oh, and embroidered a corded suede edge along the entire length of the belt to give it more substance and stiffness. #pimpmyarmstreet

I have to be completely honest, I was skeptical when I decided to go ahead and purchase this set. I had heard good things about ArmStreet, and even saw the glowing reviews that were already posted, but as someone who has just recently gotten into costuming of this nature, I wasn't sure what to expect for the price. It seemed a bit high (albeit custom made) compared to some of the other places I've seen similar items sold, which I had seen the product in person. My tunic and overcoat set just came in today, and I am completely blown away by the quality and craftsmanship demonstrated in these garments. Not a stitch out of place, perfect fit, and they look even better than they do in the pictures. I will never regret this purchase (and would have gladly paid a lot more knowing how well these are made and how good they look), and unquestionably direct my further business and highly recommend ArmStreet to all of my friends. This arrived today, and, wow. What a feel, even when I went abit wild, and wanted a red colour on the overcoat. It fit, nice balance in colours, design and the beatuiful borders. A stunning Costume, I'll be back... A true masterpiece.

I bought this as soon as I saw it, because I knew I had to have it. However, I was not prepared for how nice it was actually going to be. The entire set is put together very well and is very comfortable. The appearance of this tunic and coat is beyond any sort of costume I've ever seen, and I feel that because of its appearance, how comfortable it is, and how well it is made, it is definitely worth the money.

The pictures do not do justice to this set. So gorgeous. Got mine in the mail today & put it on immediately. The fabric used is amazing, durable & drapes perfectly. I'm so happy with this set!
I purchased this set a few weeks ago. I have been into reenactment for 16 years and never in all that time have I been so happy with a purchase. There wasn't a stitch out of place and it fit perfectly. I'm a heavier guy so that is rare for me. Comparable products always seem like they will stress or tear, but this thing is TOUGH, I've been performing western martial arts since I received it and the Flax Linen has held up unbelievably well. You have two choices people... You can buy elsewhere and look like you stepped out of a Halloween party, or you can buy from ArmStreet and look like you stepped off of a multi-million dollar movie production. Greetings! I'm ready to order the Medieval Long Tunic and Overcoat Set for my fiance. We're getting married in September and before I make the order I have a question about your measurements. My honey is very tall and skinny, and as a result we often have trouble finding him clothing with long enough arms. They usually end up two or three inches too short. Along with the measurements you ask for, can I please send you his arm length from armpit to wrist so that you can assure the arms won't be too short? Hello, my husband was wondering if both the long tunic and overcoat could be made out of linen? (because we live in texas and it gets HOT during our Renaissance Fair) Also do you have any pictures of the long tunic and overcoat in the different color options? Thank you :)
The tunic originally comes in cotton, which is available in white, black, dark blue, green and burgundy, but we can use linen for $35 extra.
At the moment we don`t have any photos of the set in different colors, sorry.
Are there other trim options available? And is it permissable to add a slit to the back. I ask because I'm occasionally on horseback and the back slit is necessary so that it doesn't bunch up.
The set can be made with any of our narrow trims, please let us know which one you`d like to have.
We can add a slit on the back, but please note that we`ll have to add the seam on the back there. As this modification will require more work and trim, it will cost $20.00 extra.

I just got these items a few days ago but I noticed they didn't come with any washing instructions. What is the best and safest way to wash these items?
Both items are machine washable, use water of the temperature not higher than 30 degrees by Celsius (86 degrees in Fahrenheit) in gentle/delicate mode. Use color safe laundry detergent. Extraction also in gentle/delicate mode. Hot drying is allowed for the tunic, but not for the overcoat.
Are you able to get the overcoat by itself ? Or is it only available in the set?

Hello! I was wondering why there is only one choice for color for the Medieval long tunic and overcoat set. I really like the blue tunic with the overcoat in brown as pictured. I also noticed that it is also available on Etsy, but at a much greater price and was wondering why. Thanks!
Custom size tunic can be made in 4 colours: dark blue, green, black, white cotton, and overcoat can be made in 9 colours: brown, green, blue, black, natural, white, wine red, burgundy, midnight flax.
Fixed size costume is available in original colours only - dark blue tunic with brown overcoat.
Just got to say the models hair is something else! And he looks like Christian Bale. :) If I had a partner interested in this sort of thing I would be making him dress like this lol. Good work all round. I am surely looking into purchasing some dress for myself that I would wear at anytime, not just as costume. And if I ever have a wedding party definitely coming here for my dress and accessories. Bring back the days of old I say.
Is it possible for a deep hood to be added to the undertunic? I really like this outfit and i just thought it would look cool with a hood.
This costume cannot be made with hood, but we can make the hood as a separate piece. For example, as on the “Bowman” costume or Woolen Medieval Coat with Hood.
Can you make this with the under tunic in linen instead of cotton the under tunic would be natural and the outer in green? also could you make an extra outer in green wool?
The undertunic can be made of natural color linen for $35 extra. The overtunic cannot be made of wool, sorry.

I am not familiar with flax clothing. I was wondering about the advantages and disadvantages of this material. Is it durable?
Linen is much more softer, lighter, and flowing than cotton, but it crumples easily. Cotton fabric doesn't wrinkle easily, it's thicker and heavier than flax, and keeps the shape better.
As for the durability: linen that we use has density 1.30 - 1.35 g/cm³, and cotton fabric - about 1.54–1.56 g/cm³ and up to 1.70 g/cm³.
