Medieval Tunic with accents
Medieval Men's Tunic
Men's Long Sleeve Tunic
Medieval tunic with contrasting binding
You may not believe it, but we’ve just come up with yet another tunic! This one is suitable for 11th to 16th-century reenactment, as well as perfect for lounging. Our pure linen has a luxurious and attractive weave, and combined with flawless finishing it gives this tunic a simple yet chic look. Soft and lightweight, it absorbs moisture, dries fast and is delightfully breathable to prevent overheating, thus making this sleek tunic excellent for hot summer days.
The common T-shape style tunic dates back the 12th century and was worn by all classes throughout the Middle Ages. No cuts and layouts, its simple pattern is a combination of geometric shapes: fitted top front and back panels, slightly flared bottom, long tapered sleeves, and a wide round neckline. Lowered armholes with gussets and gores give unlimited ease of movement so that one can move, dance and fight!
We’ve played up its simple design by adding a narrow bias binding along the edges of the tunic, made from a bright contrasting linen. All the internal seams have been finished and flat felled so that you won’t find any visible overlocking.
The tunic might be worn under surcoats and vests of all sorts for a middle-class costume, and alone as an indoor outfit. It suits both casual and knightly looks whether you chose to wear it with or without a belt. Girdle it to project elegance strolling about the faire, or try it with casual streetwear!

This tunic is quickly becoming one of my favourite everyday items. The linen is soft and it's perfect when the weather is warm but you still want long sleeves.
