She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life. At first, I only caught glimpses of her in the early mornings, her hair dancing in the breeze and her breath leaving clouds in the cold air behind her. Somehow, over the years, those tiny glimpses have formed together to create a beautiful memory, like a painting in my mind.
Our Renaissance Memories collection is delicate and beautiful, inspired by history and perfected by modern design sensibility. We have worked hard to produce a gorgeous line of dresses and accessories that inspired people to create interesting characters and feel beautiful.
This dress was inspired by the fashion of northern Europe in the late medieval period and Renaissance. Our design team explored historical clothing and chose all of the aspects that they found the most beautiful when it came to creating the pattern for this garment. We made this dress to solve a problem that our customers always seem to face: layers. This is just a singular dress but gives the look of wearing a chemise, which gives the whole dress a beautiful layered look.
You will notice the renaissance influence in the square neckline. With the main part of the dress plunging down from the fitted shoulders, the chemise aspect of the dress sits straight across the chest in a series of pleats. Lines of velvet imitate the look of horizontal lacing, which was very common to find in the time period. We decided that actual horizontal lacing would make the garment too complicated to wear, and wanted it to be easy to wear. Instead of front lacing, we have added lacing to the side of the dress. Though this isn’t strictly historical, it is very convenient and allows you to fit the dress better to the shape of your body.
The front of the dress includes what appears to be a chemise underneath, which is actually just a panel of fine linen. A cotton insert behind the linen adds a bit more structure and prevents bulges from forming behind the velvet “lacing”. The second place you’ll find the “chemise” aspect of the dress is on the sleeves. The short sleeves of the dress are slim and fitted to your shoulders. From there, the “chemise” look part of the dress billows out in a loose, dreamy sleeve that gives the whole dress a delicate look. The cuffs on this dress (which match the main color of the dress) are removable, so you can choose to wear it without. They in a contrasting color and are adorned with trim and a series of buttons.
This Renaissance dress is constructed from quality materials and finished with expertise to make sure it stands the test of time. The cotton is thick and structured but still drapes beautifully, making it the ideal main fabric for this dress. The linen “chemise” aspects are the fine linen we usually use for undergarments, meaning it is soft and has a lovely texture. The velvet lacing is strong and rigid and does not stretch as much as some velvets.
The trim on this dress is ArmStreet exclusive, meaning our team of talented artists designed it. Inspired by images of leaves and pomegranates, it heavily features images of foliage and fruit similar to those found in medieval manuscripts. This gorgeous trim adorns many of the edges of the dress, including the sleeves near the bicep, the cuffs, the plunging part of the cotton neckline, and near the bottom of the dress where a contrasting color is connected. All of the trim is accompanied by velvet ribbon, which gives the whole dress a little bit of extra texture and color.

This dress is gorgeous! I love how full the skirt is, it is so much fun to spin around in it. The quality is amazing, its a nice and heavy dress. I got it with the trim from the greensleeves dress and it looks great. I can't wait to wear it to a renaissance festival once rona allows!
I just got my dress today! It is AMAZING! The best quality and craftsmanship. I literally walked around my apartment wearing it, since The Rona took my chance to go to The Renaissance Festival this year. Make sure you give the right measurements, because it fits sooo well. Perfection. Next is to buy full body armor and some viking gear! Definitely worth the price.
Today I received my beautiful dress. I had to wait a long time because of corna but it was more than worth the wait! the quality is sublime and the details top notch. Extra : the sleeves are quite long, which gives a nice effect for the puff So make sure you provide the correct sizes and do not gamble wider! This will certainly not be my last order!

Love the velvet trim. Comfortable to wear. The fabric drapes beautifully. Long, large, and HEAVY skirt - almost too long (or I entered my height wrong). I need to hold it up when I walk, or tuck it into a belt - but very fun to twirl or practice curtsies. Trails on stairs. You might need some help getting in and out of it at first, and tying the sides. Overall, VERY happy with purchase. Ideal for exploring medieval castles and gardens. Hello, I have a question about the care of this dress. Normally for washing you would need to separate light and dark colors, but because the dress is all one piece (with both light and dark fabrics) is it dry clean only?
Yes, it is better to give it to the dry cleanners. You may also wash it with hands in cool water.
