We have made this cape of wool that we have used for our Viking collection so that you can create a matching look in the style you like most. All the edges are decorated with trim that you can choose to your taste. Vikings used to choose their decorations with care. Along with showing status, different patterns had sacral meaning and served as protection from evil. Animal motives were very popular, that is why you have an option to choose Duck or Wolves trim. The cape resembles a blanket you can cover yourself with and feel comfortable. It has a V-neck and is to be worn with a fibula following the tradition of the Middle Age fashion. You can choose from a variety of fibulas we offer and find the one that matches your Viking look. The cloak is one-size and it reaches the ankle, but this can vary depending on your height. We like the simplicity of this design where authentic Viking style is complemented with modern details. We decorated seams with the imitation of hand sewing. Thank for for including the little loops of thread at the collar for the fibula pins. I did not expect that, and had been concerned that I would damage the wool with the fibula pin, but you were way ahead of me.
