“Ant” Fencing Backpack System
Shoulders straps and hip belt
"Ant" Fencing Backpack System
Back panel with shoulders straps and hip belt
The connecting element of our "Ant" modular fencing bag is a detached back panel with pretty standard adjustable backpack straps and a hip belt for better weight distribution. What distinguishes this item is a military-like universal straps system that allows secure attachment of a sword bag, a roll top bag or both. "Stitching" the sword case filled with weapons with the help of straps grid guarantees it won't disconnect unexpectedly no matter how heavy it is. The modular system was designed in collaboration with the small Ukrainian company Bureviy. It is run by two HEMA fencers involved in military gear manufacture during the War in Ukraine.
The fencing bag system consists of three separate pieces and we offer the backpack element independently so you can build the most convenient setup. Using this backpack element you can get a variety of combinations:
- universal carrying system with the sword bag and a roll top bag attached to it;
- sword bag with shoulder straps as a backpack;
- roll top backpack;
- (if you buy two backpack straps systems) sword backpack and roll top backpack.
We have active HEMA fencers here in ArmStreet team and among our friends – we know firsthand the conditions may vary. Whether you can leave some of your gear on the spot or you have to carry every single piece from home every time. Whether your commute includes public transportation, bicycle riding, plane or driving. Whether you are heading to your regular practice or a weekend competition in another country. All these define what is the best combination of "Ant" components for you.
