Looks nice, is easy to add to any cloak.
I have purchased both the silver and the brass and have been very much satisfied with both (though I had though the brass would be a little more bronzey in colour). They're capable of holding up wool cloaks (Raven and Forget Me Not, in my experience) and I'm pleased with both the design and sturdiness.
Aloha, I ordered the small silver clasps to go with a tapestry coat I made and they were just perfect! I stitched the central anchor piece and then all around the edges, and my thread was not visible due to the relief of the metalwork. It was only by doing this that the clasp did not swivel around its central anchor. I would love to send a photo of the final coat because it looks so nice!
Hi, I was given a wool cloak as a gift but it turned out not to have any fastenings. I like the look of these but need to know what sort of weight one clasp can carry. Many thanks.
We do use these clasps for the woolen cloaks sometimes, so that is a good choice!
I have this on a cloak I bought from Armstreet but I havent figured out how to wear it without it cloaking me. Could you maybe post a video or some pics of someone wearing these and not being cloaked?
These clasps are used on many our coats and overcoats:
Just sew the clasps onto the flaps of your shirt or coat, as shown on the pictures above.
Aha, I emailed about these and now I just found that you do sell them. I will buy some. Thank you! Sharon
