I asked ArmStreet to make this helmet with narrow eye slits, more breaths, and holes for a crest, and they did so perfectly! The helmet feels lightweight and very easy to see and breathe with. Much lighter than the bascinet I have and the sights are close to the eyes so the field lf view is great. I'm really happy with it!

My Tophelm is a work of art! It's incredibly sturdy and very comfortable, it was made to my specifications and I'm able to use it for HEMA matches and costuming! I love to and I'm so blessed to own something of this quality. Thank you, Armstreet!

Hello, I have received the helmet and I thank you for it. I was very happy because I received it just before Christmas. The helmet is beautiful and of very good quality. Can't wait for the medieval festivities so I can start wearing it. Thank you Armstreet for your hard work. Olivier.

A question is sent to Mexico and if it is the case the cost would be in dollars or Mexican pesos

ArmStreet Team

Hi Eddy, yes we ship to Mexico. All prices on the website are shown in US dollars.

I don't see a mild steel option. Could this helmet be made with mild steel if I asked in the order, or is it stainless only?

ArmStreet Team

Hi Jacob, sure, we can make it in mild steel for you. Please simple leave this request in the comment to your order and mention the required thickness of the steel.

I see you now offer 12 gauge SS for the helms. Are we able to request modifications (simple ones of course)

ArmStreet Team

Hi Robert, yes modifications are possible. Kindly contact our support team with all the requirements to confirm them with our production team first.

hello! How much will this helmet weigh and cost if I order the 2.5 version of the helmet?

ArmStreet Team

Hello, the helmet weights about 4 kg. No extra cost for 2.5 mm thick steel.

Please can we have a photo showing the padding and inside?

ArmStreet team

At the moment we cannot provide any photo showing the inside, sorry. The padding is the same as on our other helmets - example 1, example 2.

Excellent-looking helmet! I do have a question however regarding the head measurements. When filling in the blank asking for head size in inches/centimeters, do I need to measure my head with an arming cap and maille coif equipped? Or is it asking for my actual head size only?

ArmStreet team

Please enter the actual head size. You can add the measurement over the arming cap and maille coif in the comments to the order.

Do you guys make ACL/IMFC legal helmets?

ArmStreet team

Our helmets meet all armor requirements of the IMCF league and SCA heavy fighting.

But the steel that we use is too thin according to the ACL rules (they require at least 2.6 mm mild steel or 2.35 mm stainless steel, or 2.25 mm forgened steel). And we use mild steel of 2 mm and 2.5 mm, and stainless steel of 2 mm.

How much extra would it be to add padding and a chin strap?

there is not a photo of the inside and no mention of padding in the description, and there does appear to be a chin strap buckle in the photo, but not mentioned. i would like to know if this helm has similar padding and chin strap to your "Early Medieval Tophelm Helmet SCA Reenactment"
ArmStreet team

This model includes padding and chin strap.
