Arms, Pauldrons “Errant Squire II”
XV arm harness and pauldrons armour
Medieval Arm Harness and Pauldrons “Errant Squire”
Arm harness and pauldron XV c. armor spaulders and arms
The Errant Squire is everything a squire aspires to be: intelligent, hard working and charitable. He didn’t follow the path of chivalry for the fame or the glory, no - he just wants to make the world a better place. He aspires to great things and is sometimes found in daydream, but he can always be relied upon to jump into action and take care of his knight. On his days free from work (which are few), he can be seen practicing his sword technique or hiking along the walls outside the keep, looking to the horizon and imagining the great adventures he will have and amazing people he will one day meet.
This listing includes two items that are made to work together flawlessly and provide you with the best protection possible. These items are basic, well constructed and reliable, and are intended to take you from your adventures as a squire through to your days as a valiant knight! We've based it on XV century designs, and feel that this set will feel right at home in kits from the late XIV century and through the XV century.
The pauldrons are astonishingly flexible. Sliding rivets ensure that the wearer gets the best range of movement possible, granting flawless movement from high guard through to the finishing blow. The lames are well articulated and reinforced with a strip of leather underneath for added durability, so you don’t have to worry about losing a lame during battle if a rivet happens to pop loose. They are secured to your arms with a leather tab and arming point at the top, which can be laced into your arming garment of choice. A sturdy leather strap with a brass buckle keeps them attached to your arm where they overlap with the arm harness.
The arm harness is probably one of our most intelligent designs to date. It comes fully riveted together and ready to wear into combat, with a leather tab at the top for lacing it to your gambeson. The bracer and rerebrace give you a huge amount of protection given that they are both full wrap, protecting you all the way around. We have improved the amount of flexibility in the arms by adding extra articulation in the inner arms around either side of the elbow, giving you more protection without sacrificing movement.
Made from rust resistant stainless steel, this armor will look shiny and beautiful with minimal effort. Don’t worry about working up a sweat or fighting in the rain - just a wipe down with a dry cloth after fighting practice and a dry storage place will keep this set happy. The main parts of this armor have been constructed from 1.5mm (16ga) stainless steel, while the overlapping plates are made from 1mm (18ga) stainless. Solid brass rivets are used to ensure solid craftsmanship, meaning that this set can take as much of a beating as you can!
Although we consider this to be an “entry level” set of armor, we’ve still crafted it with the same care as we would any of our more ornate suits of armor. You can see our astute attention to detail in the finer touches such as the sturdy leather straps and hand-cast period appropriate buckles. Aside from premium materials, we’ve also included quality finishing such as the gorgeous roped edges and decorative (but still functional) rivets on the shoulders. If you’re looking for something a little bit more ostentatious, take a look at the etched pieces from the rest of our Paladin Collection.

Great armor, thanks very much
Hi! Can you do the Paladin etching on these? How much more would it be? Please continue coming up new armor! Thanks.
Hi Paulo, thank you for your question! Yes, it is possible to make etching and the cost depends on the complexity. Actually we already have the "Paladin" collection with etching: Knight Pauldrons “Paladin”, Arm Armor “Paladin”.
