Alternating spindle-like openings at the eyes are wide in the middle and taper at both ends, with serrated cuts in the mouth area to facilitate breathing - this royal cut-out pattern rules them all. Thick 5 mm stainless steel delivers support, rebound, and great protection against the thrusts without limiting the wearer's visibility. Made strictly according to the SCA armour requirements, listed in the Marshal’s Handbook, it has no gaps larger than 1 inch in any projection.

It’s easy to use center-hinged visors interchangeably, as installation is very simple: rotate the vertical clasp clockwise 90 degrees, attach the visor to the helmet and turn it anticlockwise all the way down.
