Welcome the new knee protection, historical martial arts community! Safety needs may vary widely among fencers of different schools, standards, temperaments and environments, but the essential qualities of solidity, security, and comfort remain constant. ArmStreet's team comprises swordsmen from diverse backgrounds, and our current focus is on HEMA fencing. The knee cops boast quite a period look for such a modern material. The two-component plastic is resistant to cracking and offers excellent shock-absorption properties. After a year of being heavily used by our fellow swordsmen in fencing activities, we haven't registered any cases of our plastic HEMA protection being cracked. The impact-resistant properties of the knee cops are further enhanced by an EVA liner. Contrasting and bright, the colour of the inner layer adds to the appearance as well.

Four pairs of holes allow for secure fastening to your fencing pants. Years of experience supporting their design together with modern technologies used in their construction ensure that the knee cops provide excellent protection while remaining comfortable and easy to move in. Whether you practice HEMA or any other style of fencing, this knee protection will help you make the most of it.

The "Edge" line of ridged protection features a balanced period look appealing to historical armor connoisseurs. This version of our plastic protection is mostly intended for heavier swordplay weapons: sword and buckler, longsword, and heavy sabre. Following some best practices for tournament gear in Easter Europe and the US, we paid attention to the ergonomics of our cops. They are deep enough and are adjusted with prolonged side elements to cover knees from the sides.

We send 2 yards (or more) of rubber lacing with every pair of plastic protection. There are several ways to attach this gear, but it mostly depends on what type of loops your gambeson and pants have. You can also use any other lacing of similar diameter, elastic or not. Elastic lacing is more efficient in giving you more flexibility but also allows your protection to move a bit, so it’s up to you. Most fencers have their own preferences in regard to how tight they want their plastic gear attached.
