There are many little aspects that make up a medieval costume, which combines together to make the overall look perfect. Footwear is an often-overlooked component of a costume, as many people do not actually realize the difference that a pair of medieval shoes make. Medieval shoes have a totally different profile to modern shoes - for one, they are often devoid of heels - and they have the ability to also completely change a silhouette. We consider shoes to be one of the most important accessories; taking a costume to the next level and making an outfit look more like authentic clothing.
One of the reasons that people tend to avoid medieval shoes is that flat shoes are often associated with discomfort. Here at ArmStreet, we have a full shoemakers studio, which combines medieval aesthetics with modern shoemaking techniques to create beautiful shoes that are also comfortable. These shoes are constructed from supple leather that will mold to your feet and wear in with time. It is rich in color with a fantastic texture, which along with the shape of the shoe gives it a very medieval look.
The back of the shoe goes up ankle, giving it the look of a boot. The front of it dips deeply, though, giving the front of your foot the look of a delicate sandal. Dainty lacing is used to create the perfect, feminine show that will look absolutely perfect with dresses.

These ladies shoes are feminine, lovely and comfortable. I love them so much I have been wearing them daily since I got them in! They are the perfect compliment for Medieval, Celtic or Renaissance wardrobes, and one can't help but wish for a pair in every color. These shoes are beautiful, durable, comfortable and just down right fun to wear! They have a nice grip from the rubber soles. Getting them on and off is very easy with the lacing on the top. The tapered ankle is articulated perfectly.

Runs very small. Orders size 11. They were just ok for my friend who is a 9.5/10. Would have been great if they fit!
These boots are so comfortable, they passed what I call "The Shopping Test". I can wear these out for a day of shopping without my feet hurting before I get home. Now I know I will be able to wear them for the next ComicCon or Renfaire when things open back up again. I can hardly wait! And I get so many compliments on them!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They are beautifully crafted and fit perfectly to my foot (so happy I measured my foot correctly!). They truly add that extra little touch to my ren faire costume. Also, they're just fun to wear in general. I get so many compliments!

I recently got these shoes and I love them!!! They are well crafted and look exactly as shown on the website. They look really good with my variety of colored stockings.
