Based on our popular “Red Elise” Linen Apron, this fantastic piece of costuming is better and more affordable than ever before! A simple, classic design, it is the perfect outer layer to make your costume more interesting, add a little bit of warmth or protect your fancy underclothes. Complete costumes are all about accessories and layering, and this apron is the perfect way to add a little bit extra to your dress. Made from an attractive, strong cotton, this apron has a wonderful texture that looks great in photos, as well as feeling lovely to the touch.

This is more than just a simple modern-style apron that protects the front of your dress. Consisting of a front and a back, it ties together with two long waist ties that leave a slit at the top of the side seam to allow access to pockets you may have underneath. The ties can be knotted into beautiful bows that add to the overall look whilst still being functional – this method means that this apron is incredibly adjustable. It is voluminous and consists of a generously sized skirt, draping down after the waist ties in a series of beautiful little pleats. The very bottom of the apron is accented with three lines of dainty ruffles that don’t draw a huge amount of attention but do add a little bit of aesthetic interest.

There are tons of different uses for an apron, and it’s important to remember that they are more than just good looks! The most common use is to protect your underclothes from activities you might be doing, such as cooking, gardening, flower picking or walking outside.
