I love this little hood! It fit perfectly, it's well made, and matched well with my Ren Fair garb! The material is light, soft and comfortable. I got a ton of compliments while wearing it. If your looking for a simple ren fair hat, this is the one!
A beautiful item, great quality fabric and historically accurate. I will enjoy wearing this with my medieval costume. However, I think the price is a little high, considering that there are some loose threads and seams.

This hat shows amazing craftsmanship. It is made well, is historically accurate, and even arrived in its own storage bag which will be great for keeping it clean. However, I have short hair so the hat does not sit snugly on my head and shifts when I walk. If I had longer hair that I could put in a bun, I could pin the hat to my hair. Nevertheless, the quality is incredible and I will definitely be a repeat customer!
How does the chaperone hat fasten? I see only a long tie on one side. How does it work? What's the elastic at the back of the head for?

What is the difference between the standard and custom sizing for this item?
There is actually no difference in size, but those chaperones which are in stock can be sent immediately while custom made ones need to be manufactured first. Also, the chaperone in custom size is available in Black.
