This cape is from our “Stars of Steels” collection, a series of armor, clothing, and accessories made for women who love the heat of combat. This cape does not come around the front to cover your shoulders like a cloak, and instead sits on your back smoothly by connecting to your armor with cords. Even though silk can be nice and warm, the purpose of this cape is not to protect you from the elements but to finish your costume and make you look amazing! It is made from 100% natural silk, which makes it incredibly light and floaty. It drapes like only real silk can and captures light in a way that you can’t find from artificial and synthetic alternatives.
The most impressive aspect of the cape is the embroidered panel at the top, which is double-layered silk embellished with ornate machine embroidery that resembles a lion. This design was created by our team of in-house artists and really captures the spirit of the whole collection. The embroidery is framed by a woven ribbon, and from the embroidered panel, the rest of the cape drapes down to the ground, flowing behind you as you walk.

What part of the armor does the cape attach to?
The "Morning Star" embroidered silk cape is designed with loops for versatile attachment. On the model, it is attached to hooks on the armor shoulders for a seamless look. But there are also some alternative ways to wear it: you can tie it with cords through the loops or secure it with brooches to the shoulders of a dress, gambeson or other clothing.
