There in the desolate feudal time the romance of the free towns with their fairs, fellowships and municipality has arised. That garb is the fantasy on the subject of everyday clothing for the medieval townswoman.
Light semi-fit thin flax tunic, red broad and very long upper dress (surco) and flax houve of the fancy hat shape agregate into amazing common but stylish costume. It would come handy to go for shopping or to visit neighbour.

Hi, I wanted to know how long this dress would be made for someone who is 66.5" tall, and does the hat/houve have the liripipe or not, and if it does can it be made without? Thank you for your help.

The houve from this set has no liripipe (tail).

Want to buy complete "Townswoman" outfit. Can it be made to NOT drag on the ground? Too muddy outside. I could add my front (or back) length to my outseam (to floor instead of ankle) and you could use that measurement for length.

Hi, Could you please confirm that Medieval Dress Tunic and Surco “Townswoman” does not have any buttons/solid bits on the front side? I play hurdy gurdy (at larp events) and a lot of costumes have buttons or something metal/plastic/decorations on the lower front (waist-height), that makes scratch-marks on my beloved gurdy... So before I order I just want to make sure. I do love the dress and from the pictures it looks like it will be safe but I already have some costumes that are unsuitable for music-making. I noticed some buttons on the back of the lower sleeve, I doubt if the ones on my left arm will be in contact with the gurdy. Would it be a big problem to move the buttons to the side of the sleeve? If that is not possible that would not be a huge problem, if it is only a few buttons I could replace them with fabric-covered buttons. The little metal rings with laces is not an option for the sleeves, as rings scrath even more than buttons. :) Thank you very much for your answer, and I hope to be able to order soon! kind regards, Diona de Jager (from the Netherlands)
The dress has four buttons on each sleeve. We can move them to the side for free, simply add a comment to your order. Also we can replace them with fabric-covered buttons for $15 extra if needed.
