“Queen of Shamakhan” Woolen Set

Balkan inspired coat, bag, hat, sleeves and hand muff

This costume is a stunning blend of history and fantasy. Our designers have spent countless hours researching history in order to create outfits that are not only eye-catching but also utterly radiating with personality. Decorative elements of historical Manchu clothing have been blended with beautiful Balkan designs to give you a costume that is flattering and unique to ArmStreet.

This garb is slim fitted, which is quite typical of late-period European garb. It skims your waist and drapes gracefully to the floor, split in the middle so that it allows your legs to move when you walk. Toggles at the middle can be used to do up the coat, as well as a few added hooks as a safeguard to ensure it stays closed. Long, graceful sleeves fall to just below your knees, adding a ton of drama and creating an undeniably opulent look.

The materials that we have used on this coat really get it to the next level. Wool has been used for the outer layer, which has a rich texture and is thick enough to be water-resistant whilst still draping nicely. Faux fur has been added around the neckline to give a little bit of extra warmth, as well as add to the luxurious aesthetic. Fabric toggles and decoration with beads add to the Manchu influence, as well as pom-pom-like buttons around the sleeves and accessories. Satin lining is used throughout for comfort as well another eye-catching texture to contrast with the wool.

This set also includes four fantastic accessories to complete your look: a fur hand warmer muff, a hat, bag, and detachable sleeves.

The muff is made from faux fur and matches the fur used on the collar of the coat. It is lined with wool on the inside, and is open at both sides so that you can insert your hands and wear it like one singular, incredibly comfortable glove!

The woolen bag is just big enough to hold the necessities and matches the dress perfectly It is made of the same wool and includes the same fabric accents, beading, and decorative buttons. It is on a cord and is lightweight and easy to wear.

The detachable sleeves are made from contrasting wool with 100% flax linen lining. Linen is a breathable fabric that looks perfect next to the wool and works great as a base layer. The sleeves are complemented with a great number of functional buttons that look decorative and beautiful.

The hat is inspired by some earlier period hats and is very comfortable. It is trimmed with faux fur to the match the rest of the collection and is finished with the pom-pom buttons to tie the whole set together. It is lined with satin.
