Viking Linen Tunic "Ingvar the Sailor"

This short-sleeved tunic is made from natural linen, making it light, breathable, and comfortable to wear. Inspired by Viking explorers, it has a simple T-shaped cut with linen accents on the neckline, hem, and sleeves. 

The neckline features a shaped linen insert framed with custom ArmStreet trim, hemp cord, and detailed hand stitching in linen thread. These authentic touches give the tunic a distinctive look without being overdecorated, exactly the way a cool Viking tunic should be.

Linen, while being one of the oldest fabrics in Europe, was valued since Viking times for its strength, durability, and ability to keep the wearer cool in warm weather. Unlike wool, which provided warmth at sea or in colder months, linen garments were ideal for summer, travel, and work, making them a staple of everyday life. Choosing linen ensures both authenticity and practicality, as the fabric ages beautifully and becomes softer with use.
