Moving from more or less historically oriented costumes to self-designed exclusive garbs we finally came to something which may be described as incredible mixture of medieval costuming and fashion design.
This coat is made of very high quality grey melange wool. It's hard to recognize but more then 10 yards of wool needed for this coat because of it's wide sleeves and extraordinary wide skirt.
There is lacing on the back to make it loose or slim fit by your choice. Stand-up collar and sleeves are decorated with beautiful fluffy fur. Coat has high-quality viscose lining with nice pattern. Also we designed very nice pattern for silver lacing embroidery at coat bottom and sleeves. Embroidery and buttons come in silver by default, optionally can be made in gold color.
You never saw hood like that as it's very one of a kind with Pelerine short on the front and long on the back. Hood is also decorated with fur. On the back pelerine has two long tails which decorated which decorated with fluffy fur balls. Decorated with dyed natural polar fox fur. Optionally can be made without fur.
Please note that grey wool that is available at the moment, is a bit darker than pictured.

My fantasy Heritrix of the Winter coat came today! WOOOOOOOW IT'S GORGEOUS PERFECT! So BEAUTIFUL! It's really heavy, great quality. Perfect elven quality, so unbeliveable, it's out of this world! And it fits me so well! Thank you for not adding the fur and making it a little shorter of the ground, it's perfect! I felt the thickness and heavyness and quality amazing! Yes, it is possible. You are welcome to place the order for any color available and leave a comment on your order that it should be made with bright red wool.
i'm living in Quebec City a really cold place in winter, sometime -30 °C , is the coat warm enough ?
Hi Lori, unfortunately, it is not suitable for a very cold weather, sorry. It will be perfect for - 5 °C to + 5 °C
Can this coat be made with black wool and either black or grey fur?
Hi Noelle, yes it is possible with grey fur. Please simply select any color available and leave a request to your order that black wool with grey fur is required.
Do you offer this item with faux fur? I see that you said no to similar questions posted in 2012, but I was hoping that it might now be an available option. Thank you!
Dear Jenna, unfortunately, we cannot make this coat with faux fur, but we can make it without fur at all, if you wish.

We are now out of the grey wool, unfortunately. It is a supply problem so we cannot tell when the grey wool will be available again, but we do hope it will become available soon.

The hood is a separate piece, you can wear the coat without it as well.
Generally, we don`t sell the hood separately, but if you`re interested, we would send the request to our management and we`d see what can be done.

We think the level of comfort at different temperatures is a very individual thing. We use dense sheep wool, its weight is about 400-450 g per 1 m², it's quite thick and heavy. Recommended temperature level is from +3°C to +7°C with no wind, or from +6°C to +15°C if there is cool wind. You may wear this coat without any sweater or other warm clothing in fall and spring, but wear one more layer of warm clothing underneath in winter. Actually it feels like a demi-season coat.

This is an incredible website. I have been looking for something for my winter wedding that doesn't look like cheap fancy dress and these are amazing. I now can't choose between four of your dresses! This is one of them. You mention that the grey wool you have at the moment is darker than pictured; are you likely to get a lighter version in the next month or so?
We`d be happy to make the coat for such an important day of your life. To date we can`t provide any accurate info about lighter Grey wool, as we depend on our suppliers. The coat is also available in Ivory wool.
This coat is gorgeous, but could the coat lining be made of a different natural fabric? (e.g., cotton, silk, or linen.) I've had some really bad experiences with Rayon in the past.

What is the sleeve circumference on size 12 ? Im worried it may not fit my arms.
The girth of the sleeve in size 12 is about 44 cm (17.3"), ie the circumference of your upper arm should be no more than 42 cm (16.5") for a good fit.

The hood with pelerine is a separate piece, you can wear the coat without it.
Hello! I think it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I have a couple of questions however. Is the fur real? I know that it says that the grey is out of stock, but will you be getting it in stock again soon? Can the knot work be done in a different color than the coat fabric? If I can't get it in the grey, are there other colors (besides black)? I can't wear white or ivory (washes me out). Thanks!
The fur is real, it's dyed polar fox fur. Decorations (knot work and buttons) can be made in silver or gold, simply add a comment to your order.

The hood with pelerine is removable. It's not attached to the coat with buttons, you just wear it over the coat.
