Beautifully etched fantasy cloak clasp. This fibula is a part of our "Knight of the West" character. It fits perfectly to many medieval and fantasy characters. Etched brass (or optionally stainless steel).

Bought this about three years ago. Everyone is impressed with it. It is heavy, durable, and gorgeous. Very happy with this purchase.
So very beautiful, heavy-duty, and well made. Has lasted me for years - I've used it both as a cloak clasp as intended, and also as an improvised brooch set with a Viking costume (sshhh don't tell anyone). I love the tree design (Yggdrasil, perhaps? At least that was my justification, haha). The pin part is pretty hefty and may possibly do damage to a more delicate cloak, but I stabbed it through a wool one and everything worked out just fine. The high quality and creativity of this piece is a great example of what Armstreet does best!

The clasp is much larger then I was expecting. The tree is beautiful! Love the etching. The only thing I wish was instructions on how to use it the clasp. Had a hard time trying to get it to work and stay.

Honestly at first I wasn't sure about the clasp for my cloak. I rarely wear cloaks and never till now with a clasp. I gave a few concerns about it to Alyona (like how heavy it is, issue with it's size) but she menaged to convince me that this clasp is a perfect combination with the cloak I ordered and it was the best/smartest move I ever did. I am extremely glad she convinced me to get the silver version of it (stainless steel) as it fits so beautifully on the cloak. I was offered to have it made with laces but this really is a better choice. If you decide to have a medival cloak made armstreet clasp is pretty much a must have. Fantastic communication and superb product.

Can this fibula be used on the "Secret Garden" cloaks?
Yes, of course, it can be used on any cloaks.
I was wondering if these can be made with some of your other engravings? I'd like a pair with the cockatrice engraving from the mythical beast rondels. Is that possible? Can they be made to be facing each other like mirror images?

I LOVE the Knight of the West tree fibula clasp. I was just getting ready to put it on my new BEAUTIFUL cloak from you (thank you very much) and I am a little unsure if there are any special instructions on this. Do I pierce the wool with the stem? It won't hurt it? It seems heavy for the wool... do I need to put something behind it, to stabilize the fabric better? Or do you recommend maybe stitching the fibula onto the cloak?
The clasps should be attached to the cloak with the pin-backs that pierce the wool. Wool of the cloak is thick enough, piercing should not cause any harm.
Do you not combine postage on items? I can understand it costing a certain amount in travel expenses/packaging for one item, but it seems to be a bit unusual and unfair if combined postage is not offered? Also not including these clasps with Medieval Fantasy Lined Cloak "Knight of the West" even though the pictures depict them is a bit confusing and underhanded. It was only when I looked at the comments did I realise they were no included which put me off purchasing it.
