Medieval fantasy cloak with lining
This is great half-round wool medieval black cloak with satin lining. Noble soft and warm medieval cloak made of 100% natural wool. Natural wool is soft, heavy and deep-colored. This black cloak is bordered with original trim. Great cloak for most fantasy characters like elves or magicians and noble warriors.
Matching tunic is available in our store as well as other accessories you can see on pictures: fibula, belt and bag.

Hello, yes it will be availbale for purchase once we have black wool in stock, but there is no ETA, unfortunately.
Quick question: if I choose the silver satin lining for this item, will the trim also be silver, or will it be the gold/brass colour shown in the model images?
The trim will be silver to match the silver lining.
Fantastic cloak, suits my armour extremely well! Extremely well made and was customised perfectly with the black inner lining.
The cloak is beautiful. It is heavy and definatly keeps out the cold. Not that we get much of that weather here in Florida. My husband wore it and really likes it. It is a good addition to his LARP kit.
Like the dozens of items I've bought here, this one is superb in every way.

It appears that the elven cloaks is a sound piece of work. The only thing I see wrong with the cloak is that it should come in a green color lined in gold or silver to be more realistic in elvish use. Just a thought not bashing the workmanship. Thank you Robert of the Greenwoods

Hi Helena, yes it is possible, but the color shade of the blue lining might differ a little bit. If it works for you, please simply leave this request in the comment to your order. Such custom order will take at least 2 weeks longer since we will need to search and order the blue lining for you.
I would be purchasing this for an outdoor wedding in October almost November of this year in Northeastern US; Would it be warm enough? Do we have to buy clasps separately? Could my family coat of arms be included? How much extra would that be? Thank you. I know that's asking a lot. ~ J
Hi Jim, this cloak is made of wool with satin lining but still it might be not warm enough for very cold weather, unfortunately. Yes, the clasp should be purchased separately. Please send us your coat of arms so we could check with our design team if we can add it on the cloak.

If it doesn't come with the clasp, does it come with a drawstring or other function to hold it closed? Can it be worn as purchased without falling off?
Dear Sara, the clasp is not included in the price of the cloak, but can be purchased separately here. If you wear the cloack on shoulders it should not fall off.
Is it possible to get this cloak with silver trim but a darker or less noticeable inner lining? If so, what colors could the lining be? I don't mind changing the inner material, by the way.

Hi Hayley, trim can be changed for no extra cost. We do not have blue wool though.
How warm will this keep you? We camp in some places where we wake up to frost on our windshields and I want to make sure I stay cozy :)
Well, our position is that the level of comfort at different temperatures is a very individual thing. We use dense sheep wool, its weight is about 400-450 g per 1 m², it's quite thick and heavy.
Recommended temperature level is from +3°C to +7°C with no wind, or from +6°C to +15°C if there is cool wind (in Fahrenheit degrees: 37°-44°F with no wind, or 42°-59°F if there is cool wind).

The cloak can be made in dark blue with silver lining, just mention it in the comments to your order. As for the boar plate, if you`d like to get the clasp the same shape and size as it goes on the belt, then that is completely possible, will possibly cost some little extra.
Is there anywhere I can view pictures of what the black cloak looks like with the silver satin and trim? My Fiance and I want to purchase the Knight of the West set for our wedding. Since the tunic is now only available with silver trim we are having trouble deciding if we should have all items with silver trim, or some silver and some gold, as gold and silver sometimes look nice together.
Sorry, we don't have any pictures of this cloak with silver lining. We would recommend to choose the combination of silver accents on tunic + silver lining and trim on the cloak, it will surely look very noble and great.
I saw on your Etsy site that you offer a beautiful wool color called "prune". Can this cloak be ordered in that color? Thank you!
Prune wool is not available any more, we have had it in limited quantities, sorry. Now the colors of the wool available are: Black, Red, Red Wine, Green, Dark Blue, Ivory, Grey, Brown, Lilac.

Is it possible to get it with a silver version of the design on the cloaks edges? And is it possible to get a package deal? Cloak with silver lining comes with silver trim. Unfortunately Medieval Celtic Brass Handmade Cloak Clasp Pin Fibula cannot be made in silver color, sorry. Here is the list of the clasps, that can be made in silver color:
How do you keep the cloak from choking you?
Weight of the cloak should be balanced with a fibula/clasp in front. Attach the clasp at the top of your chest, rather than at the base of the neck.
