This unique jewelry piece has been designed as a part of our “The Alchemist's Daughter” fantasy costume and accessories set. Elegant randomness and natural look are results of hard work and imaginary vision of our designer and craftsmen. Natural leather lacings are decorated with brass (or optionally stainless) accents. Each accent is handmade and etched.

Please note that this item made of stainless steel/with stainless steel accents will be non-blackened, as blackening cannot be performed on stainless steel.

Needs a bit of time to unfurl after posting, but looked great as both necklace and as belt attachment with some of my outfits. Can't wait to add it to a more summery outfit as well

I ordered two of these and an extra belt dangle from the belt in the same series, with totally nefarious purposes in mind >:D I was going to make a really pimped up mystic belt. When I first got them I was a little disappointed, because the leather was a lot rubberyer than I'd expected (I've mostly worked with vegetable tanned and gloving leather before) and these had a waxy slightly unpleasant top treatment than the stock photos so they lacked the pictured texture. I got over it pretty quickly however, removed the chains and hook pieces, pinned the two necklaces to a mannequin, cut it up to accommodate for the different curves, and added eyelets, crystals and braided leather where extension pieces were needed. I ended up using all the jump rings from both chains in the belt construction itself, so I had to hunt down a matching piece of chain for the dangle part, but otherwise it worked exactly according to plan and the end specimen looks even better than I'd estimated. This piece was a treat to myself for getting through a horrible illness. I’ve only worn it once but it received many flattering comments. I’m looking forward to wearing it in warmer weather and happier times.

The item is very well made but it doesn't want to lie flat. Still looks good though I just wish it would lie better. Wasn't just on me same fit on a friend.

Could I get this necklace engraved to match the bird symbols from the Archeress costume?
We can`t change the etching on this necklace to the Archeress one because the plates have different dimensions. Etching patterns cannot be adjusted easily.
This is such an unusual necklace! Do the symbols actually mean anything, or just for looks? And is the necklace available with plain brass accents?
These are traditional planetary symbols of alchemy, which appeared in the days of antiquity. There is no mystical sense in these patterns. You can order the necklace w/o etching, simply add a comment to your order.
