Our best-selling “Alchemist’s Daughter” collection has been a Renaissance Faire staple for many years! Inspired by the idea of a fantasy alchemist, we have combined this magical concept with historical patterns to make a complete outfit that is the perfect blend of whimsical and flattering. When we see the designs in this collection we image hot nights in the desert, where secret potions are crafted under the moonlight. We can see a woman, an adept materialist putting together ingredients to create concoctions that will end lives, spark love and turn armies. We see you, in an alchemist costume, becoming this character and feeling the power running through you!
The base piece in this collection is a stunning flax linen dress with tie-on sleeves. The dress itself is voluminous and includes numerous gores to ensure it drapes perfectly and gives you the best silhouette possible. Following this, we made a suede corset, as well as matching shoes and other leather accessories. The best part of this collection, however, is the sheer amount of jewelry we have designed to help you complete the look. This is all made from high-quality leather, accented with etched brass that gives it a truly magical finish. Become a steampunk alchemist
There are tons of different time periods to be drawn to. You might love the rugged look of the Vikings, complete with warm wooden clothing to keep you cozy at night. Or you might prefer the fancy touches of the renaissance, with pearls stitched into every seam. Some people, though, ache for something a bit more fantastical.
It’s more than just an alchemist costume…
If you put in the effort, your new costume will become clothing. Having a costume that truly feels like a character’s real wardrobe is a special experience. We would recommend starting with a chemise as a base layer, a type of thin dress that is meant to act as a barrier between your more expensive outer dress and your skin. From there, you can put on a dress, corset, belt, accessories and more to complete your costume! The more layers you add, the more complete your look ends up being.
