Rapier fencing gloves “Bird of Prey”
Exclusive fencing gloves with embossed cuffs
We are expanding our HEMA gear collection and already have two beautiful lines of rapier gloves for more "Sport" oriented fencers and for those who value "Heritage" more than competitive achievements.
But there are always people, especially among our customers, who want more. These gloves are an exclusive version of our rapier gloves, with a padded element hidden under authentically looking leather and a cuff plastic element replaced with reliable embossed leather.
They also have a moving wrist fold which minimizes the chance of an unpleasant blow in the wrist and at the same time doesn't restrict your movements.
These gloves themselves can make your look epic, they will work perfectly with a rapier, a dagger, or a smallsword on the SCA cut and thrust battlefield or on the HEMA tournament, and they also can be used in so many different ways as an element of the costume and as a protective gear for a lighter weapon, from LARP polearms to plastic practice weapon.
Get a pair and you'll have a perfectly comfortable glove for many occasions and an eye-catching element for your costume as well.

They are wonderful gloves and excellent quality!
Beautiful gauntlets. These would be perfect for rapier fencing, except that they have very bulky seams at the sides of the fingers and a bit more padding on the back of the fingers and hand than needed even with my open hilt rapier. The thumb is rather long for me - once my hand is gripping a sword, the thumb has over 1cm extra length (but is tight in terms of finger thickness). Also, the first time I took a hit to the webbing between thumb and index finger with a smallsword (blunt tip), it punched a hole right through the leather. I don't have a lot of confidence that these will last well, but they look great right now.
These gloves are an eye-catcher in every sense of the word and are simply great quality. Absolutely stunning! I am a member of a club for medieval sword fencing and medieval role-playing, and several club members have approached me about these wonderful gloves. In addition, both the level of protection and the flexibility of the gloves are excellent. The hard cuffs help to absorb many hits even without forearm protection. The soft padded leather allows enough freedom of movement in combination with basic protection. The gloves are definitely worth every euro. Highly recommended. On the one hand, because the service was TOP.
