This armor is both historically accurate and good for sport usage. It is well-known among medieval enthusiasts and the most known reference relates to Gerhard von Rieneck grave (circa 1382). This armor is relatively simple that makes it reliable and practical. Cops are decorated with leather bordering. Fan plates has smooth lines and rounded edges to match historical medieval battle and SCA safety standards.
Optionally the armor is available in mild steel.

The armor and leather feel sturdy but the single strap holding the cop to the leg wasn't enough to keep it from falling. I suggest padded armor for the leg/knee to keep it snug. Also one of the points on the leaf was a bit sharp, but an easy fix. Overall great value!
How well do they stay on ones knees when moving around? I don't have any special pants to wear these over what would be a good recommendation on pants that would work with these?
Hi Travis, the knee cops are fastened on the knees with a help of leather straps with buckles so they stay well on any pants.
