Lightweight cuirass "Hedge Knight"
Functional one-piece breastplate armor
Segmented Breastplate Armour “Hedge Knight”
WMA spring-steel cuirass armor
ArmStreet is mostly recognised for its unique, exceptionally precisely designed armor that falls somewhere between practical functional gear and art pieces. Also, when it comes to armor, we initially started as a company serving mainly the needs of the SCA and the armored combat community. So we decided it is a good time to make a simple functional armor kit that could be modified with some simple alterations towards the tournament live steel swordplay or HEMA Harnischfechten, while also being a good choice for armored characters in LARP, especially for those of our clients who want to use “real” combat-grade armor.
This breastplate is a simplified, practical version of one of our most successful “Dark Wolf” designs. It maintains the practical aspect while being essentially bare of flashy finishing and decor. So, it’s a relatively simple, functional, lightweight (comes in tempered spring steel by default) sword-fighting armor with a reliable leather strapping harness. It will be perfect for many man-at-arms and low rank nobility characters – those who make a living by their sword and bravery.
Important finishing options you may consider are mirror or satin polishing, stainless steel instead of tempered steel, and blackening or brassing (goes for an extra 20% and 30% respectively)
Check out our “Sellsword” breastplate armor as a reasonable alternative, or opt for the “Dark Wolf” cuirass if you want to be a glorious noble prince with all the whistles and bells.

Medieval Martial Arts are, by their very nature, dangerous and ArmStreet is not responsible for any injuries sustained by persons wearing their armour during the course of such activities. We cannot stress enough the importance of proper training, armour, weapons and knowledgeable supervision during these activities. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the wearer and their opponent for the safety of the participants.
