an absolutely stunning helm, love the gold cross on the face of it, looks amazing
Thanks for the review!
I purchased this helm last month in 14 gauge Stainless for an additional cost. The interior weld at the top looks sloppy but seems solid enough. Other than that, it is an excellent helm. I have fought in it once and love it. One thing I didn't realize is the facial air holes give excelent visibility when looking down. Since it's riveted together on the sides and back it doesn't ring like a bell when hit. Another huge plus for me.
Thanks for your feedback, Kaal! We'll work on the seams )
Would we be able to get this padded as well as add the chin strap ?
Now all our helmets come with padding and chin strap included, no extra.
What's the difference between this helm and the other gold cross sugarloaf helm?
Upgraded Sugarloaf helmet has visor fixation pin.
How would I go about making armor from your site a different color? Would you recommend a method for making it black?
To date we don't make blackening and armor in other colors.
what is the weight of the helm (16 ga)?
16 ga - about 4.5 kg (10 lbs);
14 ga - 5.5-6 kg (12-14 lbs).
Hi, I'm wondering how expensive it is if its made of 14ga steel?
Current price plus $110 extra.
Do you happen to sell armor patterns?
We do not share or sell our patterns, even for non-commercial use.
On the Head meaurement, it says to measure your head circumference along your eyebrows. Since I am going to use this in combat there has to be room for padding all the way around. Do I add the additional inches to the measurement? Or do you automaticly add and inch or two to the measurement?
We add allowance for padding (it's included).
