Seax “Ragnvaldur the Traveller”
Decorative stainless steel viking seax
“Ragnvaldur the Traveller” etched decorative knife
Stainless steel viking seax
Made to resemble a 9-10th century seax, this knife is a great addition to any viking garb. This seax is made from 1.5mm stainless steel and is hollow, leaving it much lighter than your average seax. Because it is made to be decorative, the blade on this seax is blunted and not dangerous at all, making it excellent for photoshoots or just as a display piece on your wall or belt. The blade meets the hilt with a shaped brass ring, which extends down into a comfortable leather wrapped handle. It is finished off with another piece of brass, tying the whole thing together and making for a very handsome knife!
This blade of this knife is etched with viking knotwork, in a special pattern designed by our research team exclusively for ArmStreet. Because it is made from stainless steel, you don’t have to worry about the blade rusting or becoming less shiny - just wipe it down with a dry cloth after exposure to moisture and it should remain lustrous and beautiful.
Important note: this seax is intended to be used purely as a decorative item, and is not meant to be used as a weapon. The “edge” of the blade is blunted and cannot be sharpened, and it is constructed to be hollow. It should not be swung near children, other people or objects that it may harm, and by buying this seax you are taking any and all responsibility for anyone you may injure.
