Vikings' Sword Sheath
Classic sword sheath, leather and brass
Classic design leather sheath decorated with etched brass accents in Norman/Vikings style. Each side of the shealth is made of double-layer leather. Important part of your arsenal and your look and great functional gear.

What's the maximum thickness of blade this sheath can accommodate?
Hi Elliot, This sheath will fit the sword with the following measurements:
- blade length - 75 cm (29.5 inches)
- blade width (under the hilt) 5 cm (2 inches)
- blade width (on the tip) 3 cm (1.2 inches)
- blade thickness 5 mm (0.2 inches)
Could I have a scabbard made to fit a sword I already possess?

Can the length and width be adjusted for larger sword, for instance a great sword?

When you replenish the matching sword, why is the sword pommel & guard silver when the there is brass on the sheath? May look better to the pommel & guard were similar in color. If this is the way it is, I can seek a sword to match the sheath, and I am willing to pay the 20% extra for any modifications to the sheath to fit the my sword.

What lenght of sword can this hold I just bought one and now fear that my sword might be too long. Not to worried about the width. My blade is roughly like the one that is shown with the scabbard but more plain looking and a pointed tip instead of a rounded one.

I would like to buy the "Viking's Sheath Leather Etched Brass" for $114.00. However, the decorated hilt protrudes a bit into the base of the blade. so minor adjustment would need to be made into more of a deeper "V" cut into the leather (I can provide photos). MEASUREMENTS: Full length of sword… 41 3/8 Length of blade (without the hilt)… 32 1/2 Width of blade at the guard… 1 1/2 Width of blade at the tip… 7/8 plus 2mm (a little past 7/8) I can provide very sharp close-up photos of the sword next to a Fractional Tape Measure with my macro lens, so you can see the measurements in detail.
