If you’ve always wanted armor that would make you feel powerful, you’re going to love our new “Dark Wolf”. Though the most important part of any armor is how it protects you, we always enjoy taking our designs to the next levels and creating things that look amazing as well. The whole collection is designed specifically with combat in mind and is fitted, lightweight, and maneuverable.

The inspiration from this collection actually comes from our “Dark Star” collection – we had seemingly endless requests to make a male set of armor with the same look and feel, and we’ve finally perfected that! Both collections are ultimately a work of fantasy but are inspired by harnesses from the XV century.

This listing is for the cuirass, which includes the breastplate, backplate, and attached tassets. If you think that this breastplate looks flexible, that’s because it is! Lots of articulated plates come together around the waist to make sure you’re unencumbered and still able to fight. It starts with a solid piece that covers your chest, with pointed articulated pieces pointing down to the hips before becoming tassets that are also riveted on. The breastplate buckles up with straps and buckles at the side and at the shoulder to help you get the best fit possible.

Our whole “Dark Wolf” collection is made from spring steel, a material that we’ve started working with in the last two years. It is a much more difficult steel to work with, but the result is utterly fantastic due to the strength of the steel. We’re able to make our armor much thinner and lighter without sacrificing any protective qualities, so you end up with an easy to move in set of armor that is giving you just as much protection as much thicker mild steel or stainless steel.

This whole cuirass is made with very high-quality materials and is full of premium finishing touches, such as being lined around the edges with leather to prevent the steel from rubbing, hooks at the top for you to attach a cloak, solid rivets, and premium leather. This item is forged in our blacksmithing workshop by hand and is made with care.

By default, this breastplate is blackened with silver accents, though we have other options available: blackened, mirror-polished, blackened with gold accents, mirror-polished with black accents. Please get in touch with our customer support to discuss your options.
