When creating your Viking costume, don’t forget the addition of shoes! Can you imaging gear up for battle, lacing on your armor, preparing to fight… and then realizing that you’re not wearing shoes? They give us the ability to explore and walk on all sorts of terrain that our bare feet could not, and make a huge difference in everyday life… so why are they often overlooked when it comes to medieval costumes? We know why: they are often uncomfortable. With this in mind, we set out to create comfortable, awesome looking shoes.
These are made from a strong leather that is still soft and flexible and will mold to your foot to give you the perfect fit with time. It has a beautiful texture to it, and the surface will weather well with age if they are taken care of well and treated with respect. They are lined with contrasting leather and are well finished, and are a truly high-quality piece of footwear.
These shoes do up at the front with the help of leather lacing, giving them the slight appearance of awesome medieval sneakers. A knot work wolf design twists its way down the shoe, embossed deeply into the leather. This is an ArmStreet design, created by our in-house artists, especially for this collection.
We have used a combination of medieval and modern techniques in the creation of these shoes. The modern aspect is what adds to the comfort – modern shoe lasts. This means that they fit better around your foot than most medieval shoes. We have used a number of layers of material to make them less slippery and more supportive, just like modern shoes. These layers include a leather insole, leather fibreboard, a porous breathable orthopedic base, and a ribbed rubber outsole.
Important note about measurements:
Please be accurate taking measurements – that influences very much at our ability to make the item that will suit you perfectly. Also, you should remember that natural leather is soft material and it will stretch so when you are getting your shoes it is normal that it fits very slim. It will get your feet shape after one or two days of usage.

Shoes fit so well. I am astonished. Very nicely made. I did have to leather punch larger holes to help lace it better, but again it was an easy fix and not at all difficult. I also replaced the laces with a heavier leather cord.
I am so happy with these gorgeous boots. After conditioning with saddle soap, they easily adapted to my wide feet and are comfortable and well-made. I expect to be able to wear them for years
Beautiful shoes, fine leather. I have very small feet, so I have found an extra inlay to put in my shoes. They are very comfortable. Sadly one of the laces broke when trying the shoes on. And I was a little disappointed, because in the pictures the decoration had a black colouring but mine did not.

Very lovely shoes. I'm a UK 7 for shoes and went for the size 9 which fit well. My feet are 0.5" wider than the shoe measurements so they are a little snug but hopefully they'll stretch out the more I wear them.
I ordered these shoes and I am very pleased with them. They fit true to size for me (I wear 38 Euro/7 US) and are very comfortable, even right from the box. I was concerned they would be a bit small at first, but once fully unlaced, my foot slid right in and they fit as though made for me. They look great with Viking kit, are light but sturdy, and can be worn all day with or without socks in comfort. Recommended.
I have a question regarding size. My daughter has a wide foot and has always had issues finding boots that fit. Plus, she broke her foot 4 years ago, has metal plates, and now needs a slightly larger boot for that foot. It is also quite sensitive if seams press and rub. This could be a challenge I know, but let me know if you are up to it. Sharon

Comfortable, well made, and stylish. Would definitely wear these just out-and-about in addition to a more costume-y ensemble.
When I realized I needed to change my order to custom due to I miss read things they were super helpful and they are super comfortable hard to get on at first but once on though super comfortable and plenty of toe room. I have small but wide feet so I was worried about how it would fit but fits like a glove.
Love these boots, super comfy, i need to wear them a bit more so the leather can stretch out a little theyre a wee bit tight. Overall a great set of viking boots!

I absolutely love these boots. I got them a couple days before my event and was able to wear them 12+ hours at the event and they were so comfortable!
This is the first time I've ever ordered custom-sized shoes, and I'm glad I did! I wasn't sure if they were sized as boots or shoes, and my measurements fell in between the two, so I thought it would be easier to just have them made to fit me. They are so beautiful and of such high quality that they will be my everyday shoes just as soon as it's cool enough to ditch sandals for the year. And I LOVE that the design is the same as on the Shieldmaiden tunic trim. Gives new meaning to having an outfit with "matching shoes"! They are also a bargain, considering the quality and design.

I just got my custom shoes in and I love them! Make sure to check how to measure and watch their video, it helped me out so much! When I first received it I was sent the ones with the buckle but it was a godsend as they didn't fit quite right. Armstreet customer service was extremely helpful with getting me the right shoes and making sure I measured correctly. I adore Armstreet and as always be buying all of their lovely products!
