Cloak Cape “Lost Princess”
Woolen cloak with embroidery and fur
Every princess — both fairy and the real one - has to deal with troubles, tragedies and disasters. Every princess can find herself in a state where dresses with train, golden crown and ermine mantle are inappropriate and where she needs durable shoes, traveling dress of an easy-care fabric and a warm cozy cape for weather protection. But never the real princess falls asleep on a pea though covered with dozen feather-beds and never the real princess ignores etiquette, delicacy and elegance. If you are a princess fated to wander in search of shelter and protection — this garb is just the one for you!
The cape is made of dense wool and decorated with fur, embroidery and decorative toggles is the ideal choice for long promenades, peregrination and journeys. Warm woolen fabric and fur edging on the hood will protect and ensafe you in case of bad weather. As the cape is not bulky, it suits perfectly well both for a walk and for a horseback riding. Three decorative toggles prevent it from flying open in motion, just the same way the classic flaring capes are fastened with the help of pin, fibula or agrafe. Additional comfort in motion is provided by small wooden buttons fixing fabric at the wrists securely. The character's style is finished by natural linen thread delicate embroidery framing the cape over the entire circuit. The gentle combination of colours and textures creates a fairy look which is romantic and cozy at the same time.

I feel like a princess in it. Its warm and cozy. I love it!
The cape is as beautiful as on the photos and of excellent quality. I wore it on my wedding day, when we walked through a mountain forest to get to the dinner venue. It kept me warm (even if I didn't regret having a cardigan underneath to face the night return in sub-zero temperatures) and, above all, made me look incredible! If I dared, I'd wear it every day next winter because it's so beautiful. Thank you Armstreet.
The cape is beautiful, but too long, like all Armstreet women's dresses. This then is stralungo! I had to shorten it by pulling the hem forward to keep the decoration. I am 173cm tall, but I always take off a few cm to avoid this, but this time it didn't help! Then, to prevent it from continuing to "fall" in front, I'll have to close it further at the sides.
Дякую.
I cannot help it, I just LOVE cloaks and capes. I have several, but this one was different from those I already owned. It is appropriately warm and the fur collar is the best part of it, beautiful and elegant. As usual, I had it custom tailored, but this time the final product it ended being a tiny bit too long. However, that's because I have sloping shoulders and the measure they ask is your total height. Apart from that, it is perfect.
I ordered this amaranth-red wool cape for my wedding (which had a medieval fantasy theme) and got nothing but compliments! It's absolutely gorgeous and kept me warm for the outdoor photos. A big thank you to your team for making it and sending it on time, despite a slightly late order.
I love this cloak! It is as beautiful as pictured and communication with the shop owner was pleasant and smooth! I would definitely purchase from this shop again!
Absolutely gorgeous. The fur is so soft, and the entire thing drapes beautifully over my dress. It's very warm and comfy.
The medieval wool cloak looks exactly as advertised - stunning! It arrived on time and undamaged, and I was informed about any taxes and customs duties. You feel like the Tsarina herself in this cloak. If you want to wear it in everyday life, you have to shorten it a little, otherwise it will stain the street. I particularly like the large hood, under which voluminous hairstyles also fit. Perfect!
Dear Armstreet team, Thanks again for this cape! It's getting a bit cold in our house and I wear it very often. It's super nice and warm. Thank you so much. Nadine
Hello, I have a question regarding the length, since I am finally getting ready to order this beautiful cloak: Would it be possible to make it shorter, about below-knee / calf-length? I realise you are asking for a full height measurement, but the floor length would be a bit impractical for me. I am not sure if a shorter length might look odd because of the cloak’s ‘volume’, but I would like to use it outside a lot. Have you any experience with requests like this?
Dear Annalena, yes of course! Please simply leave a comment to your order that the cioak should be ankle length.
Is it possible to have this cloak made in another color, or is it only available in black?
Please select custom size option over the title of the cloak to check all the color options.
Does the faux fur come in white? Looking at this for a snow queen costume.
Hello, this is the only faux fur color that we have for this cape, unfortunately.
What is the faux fur made of? Thank you!
Originally, the natural arctic fox fur is used. It can be replaced with the faux fur, but we need to
send the request to our manufacture to make sure which fur can be used now.
Gosh, what a lovely cloak and such pretty and extraordinary details! Yet I wonder (and the pictures don´t reveal much :) ): Does this coat have "real" sleeves? Are there vents/slits at the sides of the cloak? It´s hard to tell, as the dress is also dark blue, so there isn´t much contrast.
The cape doesn`t have sleeves, its pattern based on poncho patterns, there are vents at the sides of the cloak. We would recommend to complement this cape with our Woolen Embroidered Mittens “Lost Princess”.
I have some questions about this cloak as I am finally ready to buy it. I want to know how easily wind blows through this wool. It says the wool is dense and I plan to use this as a winter coat (with clothes under of course) in Canadian winters. Sometimes, with wind, we can get to -30C fairly often. If I'm going to buy this (at a higher price with a shipping rate) then I really need to be reassured of it's quality, warmth and I would like to be guaranteed that the fur is real and not fake. :) Thanks! Looking forward to hearing back from you guys!
Actually it feels like a demi-season coat. Recommended temperature level is from +3°C to +7°C with no wind, or from +6°C to +15°C if there is cool wind (in Fahrenheit degrees: 37°-44°F with no wind, or 42°-59°F if there is cool wind).
Please note, the cape has no fasteners at the bottom (although we can add them for some extra) and rather wide sleeves. Therefore, we recommend not to wear it in the winter when it is windy.
Hello! what is the length a product?
In-stock cloak is made for full height 5' 6" (168 cm), it's 58" (148 cm) long.
Is this cloak weather resistant? The weather in my area in the winter tends to be a bit drizzley and cold, and I am looking for a cloak that is acceptable to wear in such conditions, without becoming damp and cold. Thank you!
The wool is not water resistant. You may wear this cloak without any sweater or other warm clothing in autumn and spring, but wear one more layer of warm clothing underneath in winter.
Is this a hooded cloak?
Yes, the cloak has an attached hood.
Oh this is me! If you are a princess fated to wander in search of shelter and protection - this garb is just the one for you! And just in time for my birthday, next 10th! so i know what to ask as a gift:-) And i want the dress too, cant wait to see it:-)
You need to stop doing such wonderful clothes, my wallet is already crying over here! Without jokes, great!
We can't stop, sorry :)
Can you custom make the Cape cloak with faux fur instead of real fox fur?
Yes, this cloak can be made with faux fur, simply add a comment to your order. Price will be the same as listed.
What dress is this pictured with? I would love to see more of it and I can't seem to identify it.
