“Townswoman” Flax Linen Apron
Medieval apron
The new ArmStreet “Townswoman” Collection consists of basic medieval clothing that can be added to any wardrobe. All of the items are simple in design, well made, and constructed from high-quality textiles. Our apron isn’t specific to any time period and fits well with any kind of medieval costume.
This apron looks great but is also very functional. It’s a great piece to protect your dress when you’re cooking or doing any work at SCA events, LARP, or even just around the house. It is not a particularly fancy design which makes it look quite medieval lower-class, so it would be a good way to dress down a costume to look more like a medieval peasant.
The best way to make a costume look more realistic and more like actual clothing is to add layers. This apron is an easy way to add a layer without having to wear something additionally bulky. It is made from 100% flax linen, which is well known for wearing nicely over time and becoming more soft and comfortable.
Our “Townswoman” apron comes in two fixed sizes: S/M and L/XL. The tie on both sizes is 1cm in width and 2m in length. The S/M apron is 30cm at the top and 1m at the bottom, and the L/XL is 45cm at the top and 1.5m at the bottom.

I absolutely love my apron, very surprised to have received it on time because of the war happening. We are praying for Ukrainian.
Does what it says on the box, as it were. It's a nice apron.
Super cute, I ordered it with the natural linen headpiece, it looks good, it's practical and it's pretty affordable. It's perfect for a modest medieval costume (I wear it with an Elsie dress, it's perfect).
Shipped very fast. The apron is long and touches the ground, covering my skirts completely. I am 5'7" and I hemmed it about 5-6 inches to show my skirts underneath to the degree I wanted. The natural linen is a greyish color and has cool undertones. I also added floral embroidery to the bottom edges.
I bought the apron to go with the Kirtle Dress I had bought and it was a great addition to add more variations in color.
