Great costume, hight quality. But the cords for the buttons are frail ! (I have disjointed one of them)

A truly magnificent ensemble. It is highly comfortable to wear and keeps you very warm as is the hat. Sash is very nicely detailed, despite being different from one in the pictures (not a bad thing at all, I like the black and red pattern I got even better than the one in the pictures). This costume is a must for any fan of Eastern European or Russian history and culture. Much Thanks!

ArmStreet team

Thanks for your great feedback, Jared!

Can the jacket be made in a cotton?

ArmStreet team

Technically this coat can be made of cotton though wool is preferable for this pattern (cotton might be too thin); simply add a comment to your order.

Looks like it might work for Ottoman or other Turkish as well. I like the Slav saber also, since it closer matches Ottoman infantry miniatures.

I am in Trimaris (Florida) and was curious would I boil to death in this or would it be comfortable?

ArmStreet team

Perhaps it's not the best choice for the hot climate, the coat is made of thick wool. We recommend to pay attention to the flax linen models.

Hey! Have you seen the Russian guy at the Arizona Renaissance Festival, did you help that guy, I want a costume like his, it's pretty incredible and looks a lot like yours, just tweeked out differently.

When I measure myself do I add extra give or do I measure exactly to my size? Thank you

ArmStreet team

Please do not add any extra to your measurements. All we need is your actual body measurements - we'll add an allowance ourselves, it differs depending on the item.

Do you have any pictures of it in any of the other colours?

ArmStreet team

Usually we make photo shoots of our items only in one basic color, so unfortunately there are no such pictures.

what is that style of hat called?

ArmStreet team

There was no special name, just the "hat" (ru. shápka) of circular cone-shape with round fur band. The top of the hat was sometimes wringing on the side.
