Greaves “The King's Guard”
Medieval stainless full-round greaves
Greaves armor “The King's Guard”
Medieval knight stainless full-round greaves
Greaves are probably one of the most complicated parts of medieval armour. Human's calves shape makes forging back plate of greaves a challenge. These greaves has been created as a part of our “The King's Guard” kit, in particular as lower part of our “The King's Guard” armor legs. Technically these greaves can be used as separate piece of armour but we did a separate listing for them mostly because some fighters do not actually need greaves. So we provide greaves separately for those who need them.
As well as other parts of the kit greaves are hand-forged of 16 ga (1.5 mm) stainless steel, assembled using solid steel and brass rivets only and beautifully decorated with etching and brass bordering.

Important note about measurements: please take into account that we need your measurements in gambeson, choses or other under-armour gear you are planning to use with this armor. The only exception is when you are ordering both armour and padding from our company — in this case you can send us your body measurements.

What boots were used in the photo?
Hi Eric! Knight Medieval Boots are shown on the pictures.
Would you recommend padding be worn under these or is it fine to just wear pants like in the picture?
Hi Eric! Yes, padding is recommended, especially if the armor is used for combat
Can these greaves be made at the same time as a pair of sabatons so that they work together? I see there are no sabatons in the full suit, but hopefully the Medieval Combat Functional Armor Sabatons can be made to work.
The greaves will go well with the sabatons. Please mention in the comments to your order that you`ll wear them together and they will be made to fit each other.
