What type of mail aventail do you use?

ArmStreet Team

Hi Andrew, the helmet can be made with riveted or butted aventail.

what is the difference between hidden face protection for turban helms and sca for $50??

ArmStreet team

There is no difference, it is the same thing. By default the helmet goes with no hidden protection plates.  You can find more info about our SCA hidden protection here.

Hello, Do you have any pictures of the difference between mirror and satin polish on your helmets? Also is it possible to order this helmet with a removable grille for SCA fighting? (I am going to use it both at larp and sca) Also which helmet is it inspired from? What time/century? Sassanid? Best regards, Björn

ArmStreet team

You can see the difference on the example of two "Sugarloaf" helmets.
SCA bargrill can be made for bascinet type helmets only.
Inspired by Iranian and Turkish helmets.

Hi, is the chainmail riveted, butted or welded on this? If it is butted can you do it rivveted?

ArmStreet team

The aventail is butted, to date it cannot be changed to the riveted one, sorry.
