The boots are fantastic to wear and look at, I got the perfect size based on the recommendation, and the colors are amazing ( Black with the burgundy top). I wore them to a 5 day outdoor LARP Festival and they were super comfortable and very sturdy. I did put some insoles in, but that's because my feet need them and I have to do that for basically all shoes (and these boots had plenty of room for the insoles I put in there, the adjust-ability of the back lacing was very helpful for this). My only complaint (and it's not worth docking any stars off these boots because they really are amazingly made) was that the leather laces that came with the boots were very much larger than the holes for lacing and the boot came unlaced. The laces don't have any sort of aglet, which made pushing the soft leather strips through too small of a hole an unreasonably difficult task for me. Maybe there is a tool that everyone else just knows about that I don't, but I ended up buying smaller leather strips and I luckily had access to a tapestry needle to help the initial lace. I made my laces extra long, and I tied knots at the end so it never can be accidentally unlaced. Despite that, I still love these shoes and fully plan on buying more shoes from ArmStreet in the future.

I got the black with brown tops using their custom sizing. I was very worried they would not fit as my shoe size fluctuates a lot between shoe brands ( i go between asics and nike), but I followed their 'how to measure' video and took my measurements 3 times to ensure accuracy. I also included my shoe sizes in various brands that I own plus my cowboy boot size. The boots arrived to me in canada and I was able to wear them to a ren faire as planned. They fit perfectly, but were just a tad tight. This tightness went away after 20 minutes when the leather shaped to my foot. I knew they laced up in the back from the photos, but it took me 30 minutes to lace up both boots for the first time. As the eyelets stretched, the time lessened to 15 minutes for the ren faire i wore them to the following week. I did rip one of the eyelets the first time I laced them up, but that was 100% my fault as I pulled the lacing from a weird angle. I will be able to fix it with a leather patch since I am a leatherworker anyway. Completely recommend these boots.

I ordered the black and brown in these boots in a size 10 after using the sizing chart. I normally wear a size 10.5US in shoes. These are a little snug and hard to get on, but I suspect they will fit well after a little break in. The quality is superb; the stitching, feel of the leather, and general fit and finish are very good! Would purchase again.

Beautiful boots, very comfortable to wear. A bit difficult with the high lacing at the back, but with a bit of practice it worked. The advantage is that I can adjust them really well to my leg. This makes them very comfortable to wear. The first time I wore them for 3 days in the middle of the market was no problem. They are slightly warmer, so not necessarily for midsummer. The look is eye-catching, but not obtrusive. I'm not a fan of beak shoes, but I wanted to give the juggler costume some visible footwear.

Handsome and nicely made. They are a bit on the small side for American sizes.

Look gerat and fit very nicely. The Leather is very soft and doesn't require a lot of wearing in. I advise to get thinner laces then the ones delivered though. All in all I am very pleased with the boots!
