The "Dragon" boots were designed and gradually improved through continual communication with fellow swordsmen. The essential features of fencing footwear are perfect grip on different surfaces both indoors and outdoors, lightweight, ankle support and freedom of movement. The comfort of modern sneakers comes as a bonus. You can rely on a unique scale-pattern outsole for your unpredictable jumps or lounges on grass and sand, wooden floor and soil. Its width helps maintain balance even on logs and stones. However, beware of modern pavement such as sharp asphalt or gravel as they might significantly shorten the lifespan of outsoles. And thanks to soft supinators you can easily spend the whole weekend of travel-competition-travel back without owing your feet a SPA day afterwards. We highly recommend paying special attention to the lacing – the boots feature a whole system of holes and hinges to provide fencers with maximum control over the adjustment of each boot to each particular foot.
Most of ArmStreet products are eyecatchers and those boots are no exception. Even in a slightly more modest version of the heritage edition they still look badass and attractive. Just like you, right?

These are great. Would've been 5 stars but they are a bit narrow in the foot and upper calf, so if you are thicker or more muscular, keep that in mind when ordering. More of this style is in my future.
These boots are amazing. I used to use a pair of well known Renn Festival companies boots for a long time. (Because they last forever and look good). The old boots did not have the flexibility and feel these have. My feet after a whole weekend of LARPing, have never felt so good. They feel like I am wearing a tennis shoe with the support and look of a boot. They are easy to get on and off. (Laces look intimidating but those hook latches at the ankle allow for easy on and off.) They also look incredible! I would recommend these over anything else out there. Excellent product, good quality and easy to move in. Have used them in sparring and work wonderfully as a 40 year old with injured ankles it worked great. Slightly bigger than expected but was able to work it with an insole. 10/10 would recomend.
Fits pretty well, needs to be slightly broken in, but the soles are fantastic. Used for an all day festival and was super comfortable.

These boots are absolutely incredible, my husband has worn them for a few Dagorhir practices so far and he loves them. The quality is phenominal and they're very comfortable. Most LARP boots make his feet hurt in the arch or toes but these fit like a glove. You can tell they're made for fighting and not just looking pretty (even though they are indeed very pretty!) I need to save up and get myself some now!
I absolutely love these boots. I wore them for a 6 hour battle at a LARP over rough terrain, mud, woods, and concrete floors and they worked well for all of it. They were like wearing a cross between sneakers and boots, without the clunkiness of boots. They fit my Ranger outfit so well, giving it a completed look. They're also priced really well compared to similar high boots from other sellers. Definitely worth the investment.
These boots are great. I had them on for 10 hours straight during my event with no issue. Very comfortable with solid soles that held up excellently walking over uneven hard terrain. Feet didn't overheat at all like I thought they might have.
I've never had on my feet such as good and confortable boots as yours. Onestly? Fully satifacted!
Great customer service when I had questions, and beautiful quality boots, Only one thing I would say, and it isn't really a negative. These are not boots that can be taken off and out on quickly, but once they are laced up, they are so damned comfortable. 100% happy with my purchase!
Enjoy your boots. And you can at least easily take them off using open hooks down there - they allow you to unlace your ankle really fast. With some experience you can keep boots half-unlaced in this area to put them on quickly too - but it will take some time to learn how to do it effectively :-)
Would these or the "Matted Leather “Forest” Boots" be better for hiking/walking several hours a day. These are advertised for fencing, so it's a little confusing.
Hello, they are not intended to be worn for hiking and we do not have such a fedback yet, but taking into account the comfortable wear and thick soles, they might work.
