Princess Velvet Cape
Renaissance style short cloak with hood
Princess Velvet Cape
Renaissance-style short cloak with hood
When she flowed up the castle staircase, everyone knew she was the true Princess. It was evident in every movement, from the sway of richly-adorned velvet cloak to the tilt of her perfectly-coiffed head, her porcelain skin. Like a diva on a stage, she held the crowd spellbound.
The heart of more than one noble was lost in an instant.
It was easy to imagine wrapping her up in that cloak against the evening’s cool, whiling away the twilight hour in the farthest rotunda of the castle garden. The cloak murmured of pedigree, of luxurious wealth and breeding, and it flowed around her like the night. Its Baroque fashion is perfectly complemented by a silk lining and accents.
This loosely spreading сloak is adorned with silver embroidery and melchior filigree medallions for an undeniably opulent look. The shortened length is comfortable to wear with any style or length of dress and sleeves. The lovely cap-like hood with flaps adds a flirtatious vibe, for when the Princess wishes to be incognito. For warmth and richness, the quilted padding makes the cloak appear full and puffed, echoing the patterns of the medallions, embroidery and other accessories from the “Princess: Lost and Found” collection.
The hood is generously draped, with a velvet-wrapped button on the back. The whole cloak features magnificent, ornate patterns with a pair of twisted-satin ropes with tassels on the neck.
Let the Princess cloak herald your entrance into Baroque fashion, inspired by the art of 17th century; full of drama, exuberance, and grandeur. Together with other features of the Princess collection, the regal look is guaranteed. Or, for a softer, more romantic outfit, consider combining it with a delicate dress matched with a voile chemise to soften the velvet texture. The possibilities are endless.

Hello! is it possible to get this in Blue natrual velvet instead of red?
It is not possible, unfortunately.
I got this cloak in red late last year. Major Red Riding Hood vibes off it! I'm so in love. I adore the silver medallions and the intricate embroidery, but the best thing about this cloak is that the hood actually fit my massive head and doesn't slip off!
I like to Thankyou for such exclusive cape the medallions are fitted perfectly and I waited only very short time got it delivered quickly I wee this with so many of my armstreet outfits Thankyou beautiful cape the hood is amazing
Hi, is it a full circle or 3/4 circle cape??
Hi, it is 3/4 circle cape.
How well does the hood actually stay on, say for example, in windy conditions? How spacious is it? Is there room for a thick braid of hair or a bun for example? I'm asking with everyday wear in mind.
Hi Charlie! The hood won't stay in windy weather, unfortunately. It is a standard hood and there is some room for hair braid but it is not very deep.
