“Dark Wolf” Full Leg Harness

If you want a set of armor that’s going to make you memorable to your enemies, look no further than our new “Dark Wolf”. Not only does it look utterly amazing, but it’s also just as functional as it is awe-inspiring, providing you with decent coverage and protection without over encumbering you or throttling your ability to fight.

We love the XV century aesthetic: fitted and articulated, it’s the kind of armor that a more wealthy knight might commission from a talented blacksmith. Though a lot of this collection has been the result of our own experimentation and patterning, it’s hard to deny that the XV century inspired it. It’s also based on one of our bestselling collections, “Dark Star”, and we consider it to be the male version of this armor.

This full leg harness will cover you from thigh to ankle. To attach the leg harness, there are lacing holes at the top that can be used to tie it to your arming garment, and straps throughout to make sure it’s securely fitted to your leg. The whole harness is ¾ wrap, which means we have hinges on the outside with an additional plate that wraps around the back of your thighs and calves to give you a bit of armor to protect you from those nasty wrap shots. The cuisses have one solid main plate followed by pointed articulate lames down to the knee, which features a central ridge and large fans to protect you further. The greave is one solid piece at the front and extends down to protect your ankle.

If you’re sick of wearing old, heavy armor, then this will be a breath of fresh air! We’ve forged this from spring steel, which is much stronger steel than mild or stainless, so we’ve actually made the armor thinner than our other collections without it being any weaker. This harness really moves with you and feels like a part of your own body – you’ll be absolutely blown away by it and won’t want to wear any other steel ever again.

The default version of this leg harness is, like the picture, blackened with silver accents. We can do a number of other combinations though, including blackened with gold accents, mirror polished, and mirror polished with black accents. IMPORTANT: To fit correctly and prevent injury, a suit of armour must be accurately built to the measurements of the person wearing it. PLEASE take all measurements over either the gambeson or under-padding you are planning to wear with this armour. The sole exception is for persons buying armour and padding together, ArmStreet will then make the proper size adjustments for the armour based on the measurements provided for the padding.
